Westland Place Studios is opening its doors for their 2017 Open Studios event on the first weekend of October. All are welcome to visit the artists’ spaces and meet the eclectic mix of established and internationally-renowned painters, photographers, sculptors, printmakers, filmmakers, ceramicists, illustrators, and designers working in this hive of creativity, a stone’s throw away from Old Street Roundabout.
Set in the evocative spaces of a former tobacco pipe factory, Westland Place Studios is one of the oldest established artist communities in and around Shoreditch and Hoxton. It hosts over twenty international and British artists who regularly show in the UK and abroad.
For three days every other year, the artists at Westland Place Studios open the doors of their creative spaces and show their new works to the public. This is a unique opportunity to see contemporary art in the studios where it is created and meet the artists themselves. All are welcome to attend.
Entry is free. All are welcome.
